Script Occupant Movement
This system can be used to give individual occupants or groups a sequence of intermediate goals that they will follow during the simulation. The following tutorial videos (audio included) show how to use this system in Pathfinder 2011.
The first video adds a firefighter to our classic SFPE-1 example problem. As the occupants exit a large room via two stairways, a firefighter walks up one of the stairways and through the crowd.
The second video shows a three room model and uses behaviors to control the movements of several groups of people. It also illustrates a new feature of the occupant WAIT state that causes waiting occupants to move out of the way of others where possible.
